Mini Golf is now open

Scotties Fun Spot of Quincy, IL Grand Opening for Miniature Golf Course

Quincy, IL April 25th, 17

Scotties Fun Spot Grand opening kicks off today with a Quincy Area Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting at 4:00pm. The nearly half million dollar project, which broke ground on August 31st, 2016, is complete and ready to play.

“We had a soft opening over the past couple of weeks just to make sure everything was ready to go. The feedback from the customers has been above our expectations, and I love seeing people experience what we envisioned” states Jeff Scott who operates the family business. “I’ve heard comments from “Awesome” to “Great”. Every hole has a challenge to it.

“This addition will bring more people to the area, while servicing local families as well. We constantly see customers from 2 hours away just to spend some family time at Scotties” Bob Scott co-owner of the facility. Bob adds “It turned out better than it looked on paper, and all ages will enjoy it.” Scotties, which expanded from a local roller rink into nearly a 3 acre facility in 2010, has become a regional draw for the community.

The course is open with the facility hours Monday thru Thursday 10am-9pm, Friday & Saturday 10am-11pm, and Sundays11am-9pm. The cost for 18 holes is $7 per person.  Kids 36” and under are free. LED lighting assures an equally great time at night.

The outdoor attraction was designed by Adventure Golf Services using local contractors and overseen by the Scotts.  The project is funded by Town and Country Bank. The themed design will be ADA compliant, and be available for corporate events and birthday parties in the future.
