Quincy, Il August 30th, 2016

Scotties breaks ground for a new 18 hole miniature golf attraction. “This is something that was in the original 3 phase plan. We are excited to see the plan has come together the way that it has”, says Bob Scott owner of Scotties Fun Spot. The planned 18 hole outdoor course utilizes 15,000 square foot.

“We choose Adventure Golf Services to the design the course, it felt like they understood the concept we were looking for. I grew up playing fun holes with a loop de loop hole for example, and we are looking to have some of those fun features in our course” states Jeff Scott which operates the family owned business.

Scotties which expanded from a local roller rink into nearly a 3 acre facility in 2010, has become a regional draw for the community. Jeff also commented “I am proud when I meet customers who drive 2 hours one way to come and spend quality family time with us, that’s why we do what we do”

The outdoor attraction will be built using local contractors and plans to be open in 2017 The project is funded by Town and Country Bank. The themed design will be ADA compliant, and be available for corporate events and birthday parties.
